Cartas para Ana
Me entusiasma mucho poder invitarles al lanzamiento del documental “Cartas para Ana”; una producción que realizamos desde el Centro de Estudios Afrodiaspóricos de la Universidad Icesi (CEAF), donde quisimos visibilizar y dignificar la lucha de una mujer negra del Pacífico Colombiano, madre y cuidadora de un chico con discapacidad, dentro de un sistema de salud que ha recrudecido sus prácticas y violencias racistas.
I am very excited to invite you all to the launch of the documentary “Letters to Ana”; a production that we made from the Center for Afrodiasporic Studies / Icesi University (CEAF), where we wanted to make visible and dignify the struggle of a black woman from the Colombian Pacific, mother and caregiver of a boy with disabilities, within a health system that has its racist practices and violence intensified.
